Presenting FALCO to the international community

After the summer break FALCO has been presented to the international community in three different occasions. Between the 20th and the 22nd of September a FALCO poster has been showcased at the Climate Alliance International Conference 2017 (CAIC17). The conference took place in Essen (Germany) and gathered some 200 participants representing local authorities from a wide range of EU countries.

On the 11th of October Annick Gommers presented The “FLC Solution” for financing ambitious local climate action plans at the conference unlocking financing for local climate action organised in the frame of the European Week of Regions and Cities. The conference took place in Leuven (Belgium) and was hosted by Vlaams-Brabant province, one of the FALCO partners.

On the 11th of November, Mikaël Angé (Tractebel) presented the project at Eurométropole Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai COP23 Conference. More than 100 persons attended this event held in Tournai, where FALCO project was showcased as one of the innovative solutions implemented in the Eurometropole area to accelerate energy transition at local level.
